Upcoming Continuing Education Classes
Continuing Education classes are open to Builders Association members and non-members.
Builders Association Registered Builder members with only one Registered Builder/Remodeler are required to complete eight hours of continuing education per calendar year (which must include a two-hour safety class of their choice). If a company adds additional Registered Builders to its record, the continuing education will reflect that the primary Registered Builder contact must complete six hours (with two of those being safety related) while each additional Registered Builder must complete four hours. Educational requirements must be met during a calendar year.
General Contractor members of the BG/Warren County Contractor's Licensing Board must complete 3 hours of continuing education prior to their license renewal. Classes are held at the Builders Association of South Central Kentucky, 859 Lovers Lane, unless otherwise indicated.
Advance registration is required so that the instructors can provide enough materials.
To register, fill out the form for the event you wish to attend, call (270) 781-3375 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Classes with a fee must be paid for in advance by credit card or check made payable to BA/CLB Education.
The Builders Association has several educational CDs and DVDs that can be viewed only when no classes are readily available. Contact the Builders Association at (270) 781-3375 to schedule a viewing time during regular business hours (8am - 4pm) to receive educational credit at $30 per hour for non-Association members, free to BASCKY members.
