The Builders Association is currently holding some events and meetings while following Covid 19 protocols. Please be sure to check our calendar. Events held at the Builders Association are limited to small gatherings so advance registration will be necessary. Currently, we are not holding General Membership Meetings due to attendance limitations. Contractors who want continuing education classes are reminded that online classes are accepted by the Contractors Licensing Board and by us. Please see below for information on accessing two sources of online education and review the calendar for upcoming in-peson classes.
Continuing Education Alternatives
The Contractors Licensing Board (CLB) has recommended Procore.com as a resource for online education. Visit www.procore.com; click on resources; click on continuing education and hit start learning on the class of choice.
NAHB is also a resource for continuing education. Simply visit nahb.org and type in education to be taken to the page with online videos, webinars to download and other. Some require payment and some are free. You can view short safety videos for free on the nahb website at: https://www.nahb.org/research/safety/video-toolbox-talks.aspx (If you have never registered on the NAHB website and you are a member, you will need to do so before accessing many of these classes in order to receive the discount or attend some for free. From the main screen, you will need to create a password and user name.)
