Joining the Association
Imagine that you had a way to speak what’s on your mind, a way to

determine the course of your profession. Imagine that
you’re a member of the only professional organization

Associate membership is available to any person engaged in a trade, industry or
profession directly related to housing and who subscribes to our Code of Ethics and is of good
character. This includes designers, electricians, decorators, painters, carpenters,
accountants, realtors, architects, and many, many other professionals.

Registered Builder membership is
available to any person who meets the Registered
Builder Program criteria which includes having
built a minimum of six (6) homes, been in
business at least one year operating under
his/her own company name, is in the primary
business of building or remodeling homes,
apartments, schools, or commercial or industrial
development or is in land development.
Registered Builders agree to submit to
conciliation should a disagreement arise between
the buyer and the builder concerning possible
structural defects found within a one-year
warranty. (See the application for complete
